Bio - Rhonda Groomer-Berg

 
 

Rhonda is no stranger to dogs, showing, hunting, and breeding. Her father, Ron Groomer, had many AKC English Pointers. The family also bred and showed Keeshonds. The kennel name was Dutch Elm Keeshonds and was located in Ft. Worth, Texas. Rhonda graduated from Obedience School, taught by Dwight Dobson, Jr. in Ft Worth in September 1975. Her first obedience dog was a female named Cindy and was in 1975. She showed, as a Junior Handler, in AKC events. 
 
The pictures on this page are a couple of  dogs handled by Rhonda when she was young. The date on the photo above is 1978, the dog is Dutch Elm Special Edition a female bred by Linda Groomer-McBroom. The dog below is a dog sent from England to be handled in the US. The dog is Quispel Qet et Laand V. Aleer. This dog was in the US and shown in 1980.  

 

 
Rhonda continues to show her love for dogs by carefully managing the breeding and training of English and Llewellin Setters in the kennel. She has committed to breeding high quality - high performing setters.
